The Ribeiro Companies are developing approximately 80 acres of property at Henderson Executive Airport, contiguous to the runways, for aircraft hangars. As with our previous development at McCarran International Airport, this project will be designed, built, and maintained similar to the Quail Air Center which is located adjacent to McCarran.
Henderson Quail Commercial Aviation Center LLC, and Henderson Quail Air Center LLC, has entered into 50-year ground leases with Clark County (owners of the airport) to develop 2 separate hangar facilities. The Henderson Quail Commercial Aviation Center will be the first development and is currently under construction. The Henderson Quail Commercial Aviation Center is designed to accommodate the airports growing need for commercial aviation businesses. This project consists of approximately 125,000 square feet of hangar and office space ranging from 4,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet. The project is within walking distance from the new terminal with frontage on Executive Terminal Drive. The hangars are on a lease only basis.
The Henderson Quail Air Center will be the second project and has been designed specifically for personal and business aviation users, and will be very similar to the Quail Air Center at McCarran. Hangar space will be available for lease or purchase, subject to the underlying ground lease. Corporate aircraft operators should find this project and its location at Henderson Executive Airport to be most advantageous to their operations. Hangars will range in size from approximately 4,000 square feet to 12,000 square feet. Construction is tentatively scheduled to commence early spring of 2007.
